Cabin Campout Planned for December 2011

posted Nov 11, 2011 11:23 AM by George Sudermann

Each year Troop 46 tries to conduct two joint Scout/Webelo camping trips.  The Troop invites the Webelo II Scouts who will soon be crossing into the more adventurous world of Boy Scouts.  We hope each of the boys decide to cross over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts in the spring of 2012 and we further hope that he will elect to make Troop 46 his new Scouting family.  Our December cabin camping trip serves as an opportunities for the Webelo Scouts to meet the members of the Troop and learn a little more about the adventures that Boy Scouts has to offer.  This year our December outing will be to Camp Sinoquipe loacted in Fort Littleton, PA in Fulton County approximately 1.5 hours from Winchester. Last trip there we had snow and the boys had a great time helping to cut firewood, hiking, building snowmen and of course snowball battles.
